After the relegation of Carrignafeela FC last season, Kevin Broderick has relinquished his partnership with DurkaDurkaLand after a successful campaign in the Euro 2008 championship where he took them to second. The Arabs were so happy with the 2nd place finish they decided to take control of Ballymac Santos who have been promoted and rename it Ballymac Durkas. A new image of the club has been released. The clubs loyal fans hope the takeover will see more money made available for badly needed transfers giving them better prospects of winning the title this season.
